Slightly off subject but this reminded me off a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert from about 8? 9? 10? years ago. They'd just come out with one of their newer albums and my best friend and I were telling the ninth graders next to us to buy Blood Sugar Sex Magic because the new shit sucks, then took it to the next level and told them to go ahead and start smoking pot and experimenting with psychedelics-- why wait until college? Get ahead of the game kids! I don't remember feeling guilty when I sobered up . . .
K, must-sees to appreciate the art of filmmaking? Hmmm, any Kubrick, any Wes Anderson, any Tarantino, my actual picks would be Kill Bill 1 and 2, The Royal Tenenbaums and A Clockwork Orange. And Apocalypse Now. Then I would have them watch Goonies and Dumb and Dumber to ease their pain.
